TLDR(ish) Summary:
POV has snuck into Ludella’s private rehearsal for her dance solo with the intent to turn this prudish EDIT dancer into his personal EDIT and obedient plaything. He uses an app on his phone to mesmerize her and put her under his control, making her walk around like a zombie with her arms out in front of her and a blank glassy eyed stare repeating mantras of her obedience. Then he commands that he’ll snap her out of the trance, but her body will still obey.
He snaps and she’s confused why her arms were straight out in front of her and the sense of losing time. While she’s trying to get him to leave again he tells her to act like an ape and she begins to jump around the stage scratching her armpits and pounding her chest, horrified that she’s behaving in such a way. When he tells her to take out her "melons" and play with them she proclaims that is the LAST thing she would ever do in front of him (while her hands are doing just that!)
